Hangzhou (China): On Wednesday, the fourth day of the Asian Games-2023 being played in Hangzhou, China, Ashi Chouksey of Bhopal performed brilliantly and won one silver and one bronze medal. Ashi has won the bronze medal in the ‘3-P 50 meter’ singles event and also won the silver medal in the team competition in the morning.
Earlier on Sunday, on the very first day of the Asian Games, Ashi had also won a silver medal in the 10 meter air rifle team event. This glorious achievement of Aashi Chouksey in the Asian Games has made the entire country proud.
Rush of people at Ashi's house
There has been a rush of people congratulating Ashi Chouksey's father Padmakant Chouksey and mother Vandana Chouksey at the home of Ashi Chouksey in Awadhpuri, Bhopal. The entire colony is celebrating Ashi's success.
Ashi had won the silver medal in the team event of 3-P 50 meter rifle shooting on Wednesday morning, the fourth day of the Asian Games 2023. In 3-P competition, the shooter has to aim in three positions (standing, sitting and lying on the stomach).

Ashi's father Padamkant Chouksey told that his daughter has made us proud. Ashi had worked very hard for the Asian Games, she was confident of winning a medal in the Asian Games. He said that we are waiting for Ashi's return, people want to give her warm welcome.
21 year old Ashi Chouksey has already won many medals in international, national and state level competitions. Ashi Chouksey, daughter of Bhopal Railway employee Padamkant Chouksey and Mrs. Vandana Chouksey, is a final year student of Graduation (Physical Education and Commerce) at Guru Nanak University, Amritsar.
Ashi has won gold in international competitions
Ashi has won gold in international competitions held in Germany and Azerbaijan. Earlier, Ashi Chouksey had come into limelight at the national level by winning one gold and one silver medal in the Khelo India University Games held in Bengaluru. Ashi Chouksey had won two gold and two silver medals in the National Shooting Championship.
Ashi's training base is MP State Shooting Academy
Ashi has dedicated her career to the sport of shooting. Her training base is the MP State Shooting Academy in Bhopal, where she is under the guidance of coaches Ms. Suma Sirur and Mr. Vaibhav Sharma.
With her eyes set on the future, Ashi aspires to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
