Ramesh Bidhuri Gets Responsibility In Rajasthan Assembly Election-2023; What Is BJP's Strategy? How Helpful Will Bidhuri Be For BJP?

Jaipur: BJP has given an important responsibility to Ramesh Bidhuri, who used objectionable words for Bahujan Samaj Party MP Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha.

In view of the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Election-2023, BJP MP from South Delhi seat Ramesh Bidhuri has been appointed in-charge of Tonk district of Rajasthan.

BJP is now on the target of the opposition after this appointment. Many parties have lodged objections regarding this.

What message does BJP want to give

In such a situation, many questions arise that instead of taking action against Ramesh Bidhuri, why is he being given important responsibilities? Why was he taken from Delhi to Tonk specifically? What message does BJP want to give by doing this? How effective can Ramesh Bidhuri prove for the party in the election battle?

In the four assemblies of Tonk district, about 50 percent Hindu and about 48 percent Muslim population lives. Even among Hindus, the population of Gurjar community is quite large.

In the year 2018, Congress had won three out of four assembly seats of Tonk. Sachin Pilot had reached the assembly after winning from one of these, Tonk assembly seat.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress leader Sachin Pilot also comes from the Gurjar community."

BJP wants to bring Gurjar votes in its favor

Some analysts say Ramesh Bidhuri is also a Gurjar face. In such a situation, BJP wants a contest between the two and wants to bring Gurjar votes in its favor.

Tonk district has been a stronghold of Congress. The Gurjar and Muslim community there has already been voting for Congress and Ramesh Bidhuri has been brought in to break this.

Ramesh Bidhuri has a reputation for being Hindutva, fundamentalist and making controversial statements and BJP is using him accordingly.

BJP is bringing Ramesh Bidhuri to Tonk for polarisation?

Some political observers say BJP is bringing Ramesh Bidhuri to Tonk district for polarisation. If it was only a matter of Gujjar face, BJP could have brought its leader of opposition in Delhi Assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, who is a very bright and renowned leader, but the party did not do so.

According to some observers, elections are near and polarization is being intensified.

BSP MP Danish Ali has questioned the BJP's ethics after it appointed Ramesh Bidhuri, the MP who hurled Islamophobic slurs at Ali in the Parliament, as the election-in-charge of Rajasthan's Tonk district. Hitting out at the saffron party, the BSP MP said the current move has 'exposed BJP's face and character'.
