Rajasthan: PM Modi Will Flag Off Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat On This Date


Udaipur: The date for launching of Vande Bharat train between Udaipur and Jaipur  in Rajasthan has been finalized. This train will be virtually flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 24.


Railways has not released the official program regarding the train but railway officials have started preparations for this event


Vande Bharat will be launched at 12 noon on 24th and a list is also being prepared regarding who will connect at Udaipur railway station in this program.


Train will go from Udaipur to Jaipur via Ajmer


Sources said that the train will go from Udaipur to Jaipur via Ajmer. The route of Vande Bharat will be from Udaipur to Durgapura station of Jaipur via Chanderiya, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Kishangarh. The trail of the train was done at Udaipur on 13th August. Even then, the route was the same. 


This will be the third train of Vande Bharat Rajasthan. Earlier, on 12 April 2023, Rajasthan had got the first Vande Bharat train. It runs between Ajmer and Delhi-Cantonment. On 7 July 2023, the second train was started from Jodhpur to Sabarmati (Gujarat).


The rakes of Vande Bharat train came to Udaipur on 11 August 2023. When the rakes, which left Chennai on August 9, reached Udaipur, a large number of people had reached the station. Everyone was curious as to when the train would start. Udaipur was waiting for this train for a long time. 


Train equipped with state-of-the-art facilities


There is a plan to run it six days a week except Sunday. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, this semi-high speed train has eight coaches and 530 seats.


The train will have completely automatic entry/exit gates. Some of the facilities that the train will have will be two LED displays on each side of the coach to display its current running conditions, a high-speed Wi-Fi facility, and two charging ports under the seat. 


Udaipur is a tourist city and this train will be convenient for the tourists coming here. Tourists will be able to travel to and fro Jaipur directly by this train.
