Bhopal: Be it happiness or sorrow in life, the creator of the universe, the Supreme God, is with us with determination and encouragement at every step.
The holy festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the National Institute of Fashion (NIFT) Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on 7 September.
The Mahotsav coincided with Dahi Handi, and other cultural program organized by the students of NIFT Bhopal under the leadership of SDAC NIFT Bhopal.
Aarti of Lord Shri Krishna was performed by Lt. Col. Ashish Aggarwal, Director, NIFT Bhopal, after which he distributed Prasad of Halwa, Makhan and Panjiri to everyone present there including Dr. Prabhat, SDAC NIFT Bhopal, other officials, staff and students.
Janmashtami and handi are two principles of one coin. Keeping this in mind, NIFT students had organized six handis.
Dr. Prabhat Kumar broke the first handi and that too in the blink of an eye. Seeing his speed and energy, other teams were also impressed and showing their full enthusiasm, broke handi and left everyone in awe.
The students expressed their devotion and love for God through dance and music. Meanwhile, a devotee of Lord Krishna, Sumati from Accessory Design department said, “This feeling cannot be expressed in words."
Sumati said further, "Seeing them putting so much effort in following all the procedure in worshiping my Krishna and spreading so much happiness to everyone, I did not know that I was so far away from my home.”
Everyone's enthusiasm was at peak which was visible in their eyes. The energy of students matched with the beats of music.
All the students present there seemed as if they did not want this day to come to an end. But the smile on everyone's face was a proof that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and follow your heart.
