Three Blasts At 2 Places Rock Pakistan; 55 Die in Balochistan Alone


There were 3 blasts at 2 places in Pakistan on Friday. The first blast took place near a mosque in Balochistan. This was a suicide attack. In this, 55 people including a DSP died, while 50 people were injured. At the time of the attack, people were gathering for the procession of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. Four people died and many others were injured in two other attacks.


The second and third blasts took place at a mosque and a police station in Hangu town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Both were suicide attacks. Four people including a police officer died here. 


A police officer said that the roof of the mosque collapsed after the blast. 30-40 people are buried under the debris here. 12 people have been rescued.


Blast occurred near mosque in Balochistan's Mastung


The first and most fatal blast occurred in Balochistan. A suicide attack took place near a mosque in Balochistan's Mastung city on Friday. In this, 55 people including a DSP died, while 50 people were injured. 


A police officer is also among those who died in Balochistan. At the time of the attack, people were gathering for the procession of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. AC of Mastung city said that the blast took place near the car of DSP Nawaz Gishkori.


According to Geo News, the police officer who died in the attack is DSP Nawaz. Balochistan's acting Information Minister Jan Achakzai said that all the injured have been sent to the hospital. If needed, they will be shifted to Karachi. 


Achakzai said the government will take full responsibility for the treatment of the injured. The Chief Minister of Balochistan has announced 3 days of mourning in the entire province.


The police suspect it was a suicide attack targeted at the religious gathering in Mastung city. Officials have declared a state of emergency.


The casualties are being transported to two hospitals, police said. Two Mastung city police officials confirmed the death toll.


Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti called the blast a "very heinous act". Many videos on social media show the injured being rescued by emergency responders and locals. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
