Madhya Pradesh Elections-2023: Congress workers in Bhopal recited Hanuman Chalisa outside Kamal Nath's bungalow for this reason

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections-2023 race has taken an intriguing turn. Following the release of candidate names, both the BJP and Congress parties have witnessed protests and demonstrations. In Bhopal, these protests have taken on a unique form. Congress members gathered outside PCC Chief Kamal Nath's residence and chanted Hanuman Chalisa, demanding a change in the candidate for the Huzur constituency in Bhopal.

Initially, Vishnu Vishwakarma was claiming Congress ticket for the Huzur Assembly constituency in Bhopal. However, he was denied the ticket, and Naresh Gyanchandani was chosen as the candidate by Congress. Supporters of Vishnu Sharma have now taken a stand, urging a candidate change and even organizing a demonstration outside Kamal Nath's residence.

The situation has rapidly evolved since the announcement of Congress candidates in Bhopal. Those Congress workers who once recited Hanuman Chalisa for PCC Chief Kamal Nath's victory are now invoking Hanuman Chalisa for guidance and wisdom for the Congress party itself.

Vishnu Vishwakarma, who is seeking the Bhopal Huzur Assembly ticket,  and his supporters have resorted to Hanuman Chalisa recitations to advocate for a change in the Congress candidate.

The Huzur Assembly constituency in Bhopal has frequently been a topic of discussion. Currently, Rameshwar Sharma, representing the BJP, is the sitting MLA for Huzur and had won the 2018 elections by a significant margin.

The BJP has once again nominated him, while Congress has expressed confidence in Naresh Gyanchandani. It's worth noting that the electoral landscape for all seven assembly seats in Bhopal has now been clearly defined, with both the BJP and Congress naming their candidates for these positions.
