NIFT Bhopal students visit Bhojpur, Bhimbetka for photography practical

Bhopal: 40 students of the first batch of Fashion Communication (FC) department of NIFT Bhopal went on a field trip to Bhojpur and Bhimbetka for photography practical. 

 


The program was arranged by the department's course coordinator (CC) Ayan Tiwari, guided by the subject faculty Birendra Baliarsingh, and supported by Vinod Yadav and Manish Tomar. 

 

The students practiced the Nature Photography, Landscape Photography and Monumental Photography. 

 

On 27th October there will be another visit to Raisen for Monumental Photography (Raisen Fort) and Street Photography.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
