Madhya Pradesh: British High Commissioner Alex Ellis visits CBG facility in Indore, said this about Indore's cleanliness model and local cuisine


Bhopal: EverEnviro Resource Management, a pioneer in Compressed Biogas (CBG) development, warmly received Alex Ellis, the British High Commissioner to India, at its recently inaugurated CBG facility in Devguradia, Indore. This state-of-the-art plant utilizes municipal solid waste for CBG production and stands as the largest of its kind in India.


During the visit, led by Deepak Agarwal, EverEnviro's Executive Director, the delegation had the opportunity to witness the facility's processes in converting waste into biofuel. Notable attendees included representatives from the British High Commission, stakeholders from Tata International and Larsen & Toubro, local farmers, and CNG auto drivers.


Addressing the gathering, Alex Ellis expressed his delight at witnessing the impact of the Green Growth Equity Fund, a collaborative investment between the UK and India, in establishing a biogas plant in Indore that utilizes waste. He noted the diverse applications of the CBG products, benefiting farmers, factories, and auto drivers. Ellis emphasized how this investment exemplifies the successful integration of growth and sustainability on a large scale.


Deepak Agarwal, EverEnviro's ED, underscoring the significance of the UK-India partnership, stated, "The collaboration perfectly aligns with our commitment to Global Sustainable Development goals and efforts to combat the climate crisis. Together, we aim to lead global climate action, inspiring others to forge significant agreements in building climate resilience."


The company asserts that its CBG facility has effectively addressed environmental concerns while catalyzing socio-economic development in the region.
