Madhya Pradesh: Ex-CM Shivraj said this after meeting with JP Nadda in Delhi; what will be his new role?

Bhopal: After meeting BJP National President JP Nadda in Delhi on Tuesday, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, 'As a worker, whatever role the party decides for me, I will do it. I will be in the state as well as the Centre. If you are working on a big mission, then it is the party that decides where you will work.’

Chouhan said today that he has discussed the next task with Nadda and whatever role Nadda puts him in, he will fulfill it.

He said that party work, national service and public service are missions for him. When we work in missions, we do not decide anything about our responsibilities. Mission decides everything.

Will visit the southern states

He said that he will be asked to visit some places in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra under which he will visit the southern states.

Shivraj said that he will work on the role that Nadda will decide for him for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections also.

Regarding the new CM of the state, Dr. Mohan Yadav, Shivraj said that being the Chief Minister, Dr. Yadav is now their leader too. In this sequence, he said that no one is small or big in BJP. The works which were carried forward in Madhya Pradesh, which transformed the state from a sick state to a developed state, will continue, He said Dr Yadav will take the state towards prosperity new and to new heights.

Shivraj said that he also had discussions with Nadda regarding the formation of the cabinet.

Ready to serve in both state and Centre

Shivraj conveyed his readiness to serve in both the state and the Centre, emphasizing that the party determines the assignment based on the magnitude of the mission.

Shivraj, in a social media post after the Tuesday meeting, disclosed that the discussions with Nadda revolved around national upliftment, public welfare, and public service. Notably, this visit marked Chouhan's first trip to Delhi since the announcement of the Madhya Pradesh assembly election results.

Sources suggest that the BJP president summoned Shivraj to explore new opportunities and potentially reintegrate him into the party's framework, especially after his replacement by Mohan Yadav as the four-time Chief Minister.
