Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead by three armed men in his house on Tuesday. Karni Sena workers are protesting across Rajasthan today in protest against this. He has demanded immediate arrest of the killers and their hanging.
The protesters have blocked the Agra Highway. They are not allowing vehicles to enter the city. The Chief Secretary has called a high level meeting regarding the murdere. Police is in full alert mode. Two shooters have been caught.
Train halted in Bhilwara
Protesters, rallying against the killing of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, have brought a train to a standstill in Bhilwara.
Bhawani Singh Kalvi, the son of Lokendra Singh Kalvi, the founder of Karni Sena, has urged swift action in the case. He stressed that the discontent among the public would intensify unless the culprits are promptly apprehended. Kalvi called for unity among all party leaders, emphasizing that the incident goes beyond political affiliations. The public expects immediate government intervention in this matter.
Diya Kumari, the newly elected BJP MLA, expressed her shock and condemnation regarding the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. She emphasized the shocking nature of the incident and highlighted Gogamedi's prior request for security, which, according to Kumari, the Congress government failed to fulfill. She extended her condolences to Gogamedi's family during her statement.
One of killers is in Army
Police have identified two accused in the case. One of these shooters is Rohit Godara of Makrana and the other Nitin is an armyman. He is a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana. Nitin is currently in the army. He was the one who shot Gogamedi in the head. It is being told that Nitin came home after taking leave in November.
According to the information, Rohit Godara, close to Lawrence Bishnoi, is accused of conspiring to commit murder. Rajput society has warned that if the killers are not caught soon, there will be a big agitation.

Protestors have pelted stones at the Collectorate in Udaipur. People who arrived in large numbers first demonstrated peacefully. Then suddenly the crowd became angry. The police are trying to convince them.
In view of the Gogamedi massacre, a high level meeting was held under the leadership of Governor Kalraj Mishra. In which all the top officials including Chief Secretary, DGP held a meeting at Raj Bhavan.
Shops vandalized in Jaipur
Traders have alleged that their shops were allegedly vandalized by protesters in Jaipur. The protesters have called for a bandh in the city in the wake of the killing of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
NIA team may come to Jaipur to investigate the murder case. Even after 24 hours of the murder, the family has not filed an FIR. The family says that the police should first catch the killers.
