What did sister Babita Phogat say on Vinesh Phogat's announcement of returning award?

World Championship medallist Vinesh Phogat on Tuesday returned her Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award to the government protesting against the election of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh-loyalist Sanjay Singh as the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president.

The wrestler wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vinesh's decision comes days after Olympic medallist Bajrang Punia and Deafylmpics champion Virender Singh Yadav returned their Padma Shri awards. "I am returning my Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award," Vinesh announced.

After Sanjay Singh's victory in the  elections of the Wrestling Federation of India, former president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had said that 'the dominance in the association remains and will remain so.'

After this announcement by Vinesh Phogat, her sister, wrestler and BJP leader Babita Phogat, while talking to media, said, “I would say that the decision taken by the Sports Ministry regarding the Wrestling Federation is a right decision. The Sports Ministry is also looking into this matter and decisions are being taken after assessment, we would like to thank the Sports Ministry. Whatever decision comes, I think justice will be done to everyone.”

Earlier, Sakshi Malik had announced not to play wrestling after the federation elections.
