Ayodhya Ram Mandir Ceremony: Mahaprasad made of pure desi ghee will be served to guests


Ayodhya: Mahaprasad has been prepared by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the VIP guests coming for Shri Ram Lala Pran Pratishtha program in Ayodhya Dham, which will be presented to them after Pran Pratishtha. Apart from this, during the program, food prepared with desi ghee is also being served to the guests in the temple premises.


Mahaprasad is being prepared by Gujarat's Bhagwa Sena Bharti Garvi Gujarat evam Sant Seva Sansthan under the guidance of Shri Ram Janbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which will be distributed to the guests after the Pran Pratishtha programme.



Team of 200 people prepared Mahaprasad 


National President of the Sansthan, Kamal Bhai Rawal said that three responsibilities have been assigned to him by the Trust. Under this, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of preparing Mahaprasad along with making arrangements for the lodging and boarding of the saints. He told that Mahaprasad has been prepared with more than 5 thousand kg of ingredients by a team of about 200 people. Mahaprasad has been prepared from pure desi ghee, gram flour, sugar and panch dry fruits.


Special care taken for purity of Mahaprasad 


Special care has also been taken for the purity of Mahaprasad, in which all the ingredients were prepared by the Sansthan itself. None of the ingredients of Mahaprasad was purchased ready-made from the market. He told that more than 20 thousand packets of Mahaprasad have been prepared. Each packet will contain two laddus, Saryu river water, Akshat, betel nut bag and Kalava. The Mahaprasad packet has been prepared keeping in mind the Sanatani tradition. The packet of Mahaprasad has been handed over to the Trust by the institute on 21st January.


Arrangement of food for guests in the temple premises


The Trust is providing food to more than five thousand saints every day. Also, they are being accommodated in Udaasin Ashram Ranopali. During this time, a kit is being given to the saints, which includes blanket, pillow and sheet. Apart from this, the Trust has made arrangements for food in the temple premises for the guests attending the Pran Pratishtha program. Guests will be served sattvik vegetarian food along with legume and millet based dishes. These dishes will be prepared by chefs from Varanasi and Delhi. Besides, thepla, almond barfi and matar kachori will also be served to the guests.
