Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra Enters Bihar Day After Nitish Kumar's Reversal (In Pics)

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi commenced his 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Bihar, making its way through Kishanganj on Monday.

This journey unfolded just a day after the Congress faced a setback when former ally Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, rejoined the BJP-led NDA.

Kishanganj, located in the Seemanchal region with a predominantly Muslim population, holds significance as a stronghold for the Congress.

On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi is slated to address a public gathering in Kishanganj and a big rally in the adjacent Purnea district. Another rally is planned in Katihar the following day, as shared by Congress legislature party leader Shakil Ahmed Khan.

The itinerary includes Rahul's departure for West Bengal on Thursday through Araria district, with plans to return to Bihar via Jharkhand, as per Bihar Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh.

Leaders of the state Congress revealed that alliance partners like RJD president Lalu Prasad and CPI(ML)-L general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya have been invited to the Purnea rally.
