Ujjain: Country's first Prasadam to be inaugurated on January 7 at Mahakal Mahalok, devotees can enjoy these cuisines

 


The country's first Prasadam is going to be inaugurated on January 7 in the Neelkanth forest complex of Mahakal Mahalok of the world famous pilgrimage site Ujjain. 


This Prasadam has been developed by Ujjain Smart City Limited under the 'Clean Street Food Hub' program of the Food and Safety Standards Authority of India at a cost of Rs 1 crore 75 lakh, between the Neelkanth forest complex of Mahakal Mahalok and Avantika Haat. 


In this, a clean street food hub has been created by constructing 17 shops. Parking and other public facilities will be available for the visiting devotees.


There are preparations to allocate 50 food stalls here for the availability of various cuisines. It is claimed that here special care will be taken of all the parameters of cleanliness and Eat Right Food. Here devotees will also be able to enjoy Malwa's famous dal-baffle-laddu, poha-jalebi and other local dishes. There will also be a stall here for testing food items. The area will remain plastic-free.


The web site of Healthy and Hygienic Food Street will also be launched in the inauguration ceremony. Cultural dances and other programs will also be performed. Stalls of organic products will be set up. Food Safety Department will organize license registration camp. The Food Safety Department will set up stalls to encourage the consumption of millets, where many delicious dishes will be available.


Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the Prasadam. They will  also perform bhumi pujan and inaugurate health institutions worth Rs 218 crore 76 lakh.


Sanjeevani Clinic will be operated at Mahakal Lok Complex


For the convenience of devotees visiting Mahakal Lok Complex, Chief Minister Sanjeevani Clinic will be operated at Mahakal Lok Complex, Neelkanth Gate, keeping in mind the healthcare of more than 1 lakh devotees on an average day, in which emergency health services will also be available.


On this occasion, Bhoomi Pujan for 36 health institutions costing Rs 118 crore will be performed and 151 health institutions costing Rs 100 crore 69 lakh will be inaugurated.


Mental health screening App to be launched


Mental health screening app "Manhit" developed by the Mental Health Unit of National Health Mission Madhya Pradesh will be launched for the general public. “Manhit” App is mainly divided into three sections. Mental health self-assessment, awareness materials/videos and contact with mental health facilities. “Manhit” aims at developing an understanding of mental health literacy, self-assessment of short-term and long-term mental health symptoms and awareness of mental health symptoms and availability of mental health services.
