Bringing to life the devotional and courageous journey of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram, Sony Entertainment Television’s Shrimad Ramayana revives the timeless epic and brings it back into the hearts and minds of the viewers.
Ushering in a fresh wave of devotion and spirituality into the lives of millions, the makers have organized the ‘Shri Ram Rath’, to further enhance the viewer's experience and build resonance.
The ‘Shri Ram Rath’ can be spotted in Bhopal, and its unique design offers audiences a divine experience as it travels to famous locations in the city. Between 03 and 04 January, the 'Rath' reached famous locations in Bhopal, like Char Imli, Panchsheel Nagar, 10 No. Market, Nehru Nagar Market, Sabri Nagar and will be further spotted in Karond, Shivlok, Anand Nagar and Barkheda among others.
The idols of Shri Ram, Lakshman, Mata Sita and Lord Hanuman are placed in the ‘rath’ and a Panditji will periodically perform the ‘Shri Ram Stuti’ and distribute prasad as a blessing. There is also a Raam Naam book in the ‘Rath’ for those who believe in the strength of this revered deity and wish to write his name in the book.
Poised to capture viewers across the length and breadth of India, the show stars Sujoy Reu as Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram, Prachi Bansal graces the screen as Mata Sita, Basant Bhatt plays Lakshman, Nikitin Dheer plays the formidable Lanka King Ravan, and Nirbhay Wadhwa essays the role of Lord Hanuman among others.
