A rally of the opposition India Alliance is being held at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. This rally has been named 'Save Democracy Rally'.
The India bloc mega rally is being held to protest against the arrest of opposition leaders.
At the 'Save Democracy Rally', Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi put my husband in jail, did he do the right thing?" These people of BJP are saying that Kejriwal ji is in jail, he should resign. Should he resign?"
She said, "Your Kejriwal is a lion, they will not be able to keep him in jail for long."
Sunita Kejriwal also mentioned the six guarantees given to the country by Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister.
"These include the promise of 24-hour electricity, free electricity for the poor, good schools and mohalla clinics."
Leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT), Samajwadi Party, NCP (Sharad Pawar), Trinamool Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and DMK are participating in the rally along with leaders of Aam Aadmi Party and Congress.
Country is bigger than any political party or leader: Kalpana Soren
At the rally of the opposition India Alliance, Kalpana Soren, wife of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, said that the country is bigger than any political party or leader.
"By voting for us, you will strengthen the India alliance," she said at the rally being held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
Kalpana Soren came to speak after Sunita Kejriwal.
She said, “The sea of people that is visible here today. It shows that people are standing against the forces of oppression. They are against people who want to destroy the country.
She said, “Our country is of 140 crore people. Today the NDA government is trying to destroy the guarantees given in the Constitution made by Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
