What Bansuri Swaraj Said in Response to 'Modi ka Parivar' Controversy

Bansuri Swaraj, BJP leader and New Delhi seat candidate, has addressed controversy surrounding Modi ka Parivar remark.

In response to the recent controversy ignited by Lalu Prasad Yadav's remarks on "Modi ka Parivar," (Modi's family) Bansuri Swaraj, the BJP leader and daughter of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, expressed her views.

When questioned about the controversy, Swaraj emphasized, "We are all Modi's family. Just like a Pant Pradhan, he devoted his entire life to the country's development. In the era when 'Garibi Hatao' was merely a slogan, Prime Minister Modi lifted 25 crore people above the poverty line."

Swaraj continued, stating, "Our mothers, sisters, and daughters were tired of tending to stoves. If we are now free from the smoke, it's because Prime Minister Modi provided 10 crore Ujjwala connections."

Highlighting Modi's efforts, she added, "Matrishakti used to travel far and wide to fetch water. Today, if tap water has reached the homes of 14 crore people, it's thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He considers the entire country as his family, and we are all his children."

The controversy emerged during a mega rally of opposition parties where Lalu Prasad Yadav remarked, "Narendra Modi is attacking familyism these days. They should explain why they did not have any children in the family. Modi does not have a family, and he is not even a Hindu."

In response, prominent BJP leaders added 'Modi ka Parivar' to their social media names. Prime Minister Modi, addressing the issue during a Telangana rally, asserted, "Today, every poor person in the country is my family. Millions of elders in the country are Modi's family. Those who have no one also belong to Modi, and Modi belongs to them. My India is my family."
