Lok Sabha Election-2024: RJD MP Misa Bharti has said that if the people of the country give a chance to their alliance, then all the BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Modi, will be jailed.
Misa asserted, "Every time the Prime Minister visits Bihar, he levels accusations of corruption against our family. If the citizens of our nation grant the India Alliance an opportunity, both Prime Minister Modi and BJP leaders will find themselves behind bars."
Controversy has now arisen over this statement of Misa. Many BJP leaders have given statements targeting Misa Bharti.
BJP's national general secretary Vinod Tawde said, "The level of opposition's election campaign has fallen so much that they are saying things like 'Modi ji will die'. RJD's Misa ji has said that Modi ji will be sent to jail. Country wants to know whether the corrupt will be sent to jail or not."
Former party MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "Do I need to be afraid? I am still a lawyer in the ongoing CBI investigation in the fodder scam case. You, your mother, your brother are being prosecuted in the land-for-jobs scam. Yes. Nothing is hidden from the country. The post of PM is very respectable and you should not say such irresponsible and shameful things."
Shatrughan Sinha supports Misa Bharti
Trinamool Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha supported Misa Bharti's statement and said, "At the time of elections, aggression from opposition parties is necessary. This is a good thing. The frustration of BJP and NDA can be seen in this election, in response to which the opposition's aggression is necessary."
Whereas LJP (R) President Chirag Paswan has said, "This shows politics being done with the intention of revenge, this is wrong."
