Bhopal: As the heat is increasing in Madhya Pradesh, the political temperature is also rising. This will increase further with the visit of senior leaders of BJP and Congress. The campaign for the six Lok Sabha seats included in the first phase has now started gaining momentum. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a road show in Jabalpur on Sunday and he can hold a meeting in Balaghat on April 9.
At the same time, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will address the election rallies in Ghansaur of Keolari Assembly under Mandla Lok Sabha and Shahdol. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will come to Satna on 15th April. Union Minister Rajnath Singh is also holding meetings in different Lok Sabha constituencies of the state.
In the first phase, voting for Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Chhindwara Lok Sabha is to be held on April 19. BJP has made Chhindwara seat a prestige issue and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and other party leaders are continuously visiting here. PM Modi will join the election campaign from Jabalpur on Sunday. Here he will hold a road show.
Just a day after this, Rahul Gandhi will reach Ghansaur of Keolari Assembly seat, which falls under Mandla Lok Sabha seat reserved for the tribal class, and address a public meeting. From here he will directly reach Shahdol and address the public meeting there too.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Rajnath Singh will be on a visit to Rewa and Satna districts on April 11. In Rewa district, after addressing the public meeting at Devtalab Ground of Devtalab Assembly, Singh will address the public meeting at Angola Ground of Nagaud Assembly in Satna district.
Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will hold a meeting in Satna on 15 April. From here, BJP has fielded four-time MP Ganesh Singh and Congress has fielded local MLA Siddharth Kushwaha.
