Tata Group's airline Air India Express has dismissed 30 of the more than 200 crew members who went on mass leave. The airline asked the remaining employees to return to work by 4 pm today. Failure to do so will result in everyone being thrown out.
85 flights have been canceled so far on Thursday
All these employees suddenly went on mass leave on the night of 7th May. Due to which the airline had to cancel 100 flights on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Today i.e. Thursday also, 85 flights have been canceled so far.
Over 15000 passengers affected
Flights have been canceled in 10 cities including New Delhi, Srinagar, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Goa, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Calicut, Coonoor and Kozhikode. More than 15 thousand passengers were affected.
Many flights will be canceled today and in the coming days. The airline will also reduce the number of flights.
Affected passengers will receive full refund
Affected passengers will either receive a full refund from the airline or will be able to reschedule their flight without any additional charges.

The airline has 70 plus aircraft. More than 300 flights are operated daily and 2500 flights are operated every week. Flights operate in 31 cities of the country and 14 abroad.
