Shubhangi Atre visits daughter Aashi overseas, tells what is her biggest hope as a mother

Popular for her portraying Angoori Bhabi on &TV's cult comedy show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, Shubhangi Atre recently embarked on a heartfelt journey across continents to reunite with her daughter, Aashi, who is pursuing her studies in Seattle, USA.

Amidst her busy schedule, Atre carved out a precious 12-day summer vacation with her daughter. Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi, couldn't contain her joy about the reunion. She said as a mother, her biggest hope is to temporarily bring Aashi back to India, although this plan is still a work in progress.

‘The anticipation of our reunion was incredibly uplifting’

Shubhangi shared, “My daughter has been away for quite a while. So, I recently decided to take a break to spend some special moments with my daughter, Aashi. The anticipation of our reunion was incredibly uplifting. As we only see each other twice a year, the longing to be with her is incredibly strong.”

‘The thought of creating cherished memories filled me with joy’

The beautiful actress said further, “The thought of exploring diverse locations in Seattle and creating cherished memories filled me with joy. We immersed ourselves in this adventure and captured moments through several photographs, adding delight. We both enjoy capturing our moments together. The much-needed break from our daily routine was made even better by Seattle's pleasant climate, starkly contrasting to Mumbai's scorching temperatures during the summer.

Shubhangi decided to buy some Indian sweets for Aashi

Shubhangi said while she loves Mumbai and acting, she misses it when she is away. “But spending time with my family, especially Aashi, is always cherished and amazing,” she said. “During this trip, I decided to buy some Indian sweets for Aashi to mark the end of her semester, including some delicious Dubai-sourced Baklava. As a mother, my biggest hope is to temporarily bring Aashi back to India, although this plan is still a work in progress."
