The parliamentary seat in Rae Bareli is being contested by the BJP, the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance, and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The political heat between the BJP and the INDIA Alliance is intensifying each day leading up to the voting on May 20.
Shah will address public meeting on May 12
Home Minister Amit Shah will address public meeting for BJP candidate Dinesh Pratap Singh on May 12 at the City's Government Inter College ground. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a public meeting in Lal Ganj on May 13.
PM Modi's road show planned
PM Narendra Modi is also likely to visit Rae Bareli and ho;d a road show.
There are even plans to hold a joint public meeting for Amethi and Rae Bareli, although this has not been confirmed yet.
According to the caste equation, state president Bhupendra Chaudhary and many other ministers from BJP have come here till now and will come in future also. The BJP district president, Buddhi Lal Pasi, has announced the upcoming programmes of the Home Minister and the Chief Minister.
Joint public meeting of Rahul and Akhilesh expected
From the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance, Priyanka Gandhi has entered the electoral arena. After a meeting in Bhuemau on May 6, she has been holding organizational meetings at night and campaigning in the assembly constituency during the day. On May 10, Priyanka will be in Salon to campaign for Rahul. There is also a planned joint public meeting for Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav from the alliance.
Regarding the joint meeting of Rahul and Akhilesh, preparations are being made, as confirmed by the Samajwadi Party's district president, Veerendra Yadav. However, the venue has not been finalized yet. The Congress district president, Pankaj Tiwari, mentioned that Rahul Gandhi may visit on May 13. The BSP district president, Balkumar Gautam, stated that there are currently no scheduled programs for any major leaders.
