Ravindra Jadeja also says goodbye to international T20 cricket, what PM Modi said?


Indian cricket team's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has announced his retirement from international T20 cricket on Sunday.


He wrote on Instagram, "With a heavy heart, I say goodbye to international T20 cricket."


"Like a horse galloping proudly, I have always given my best performance for my country. And will continue to do so in other formats of cricket as well."


He wrote, "Winning the T20 World Cup is like a dream come true. I am at the pinnacle of my T20 international career. Thank you all for your memories, encouragement and unwavering support."


India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the final match of the T20 World Cup played in Barbados. The Indian team won this title after nearly 17 years. Ravindra Jadeja was also a part of the Indian team.


After the match ended, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli also said goodbye to international T20 cricket.


PM Modi spoke on Ravindra Jadeja's retirement


Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished Ravindra Jadeja all the best for his future after he announced his retirement from T20 cricket.


PM Modi wrote on the social media platform Instagram, "You have performed exceptionally as an all-rounder. Cricket lovers admire your stylish stroke play, spin and superb fielding. Thank you for the enthralling T20 performances over the years. My best wishes for your endeavours ahead."


After the victory in the final match of the T20 World Cup, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli also said goodbye to international T20 cricket.


PM Modi spoke to the players of Team India on the phone after the victory in the match and also wished Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli all the best for the future.
