Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Now you can capture your moments with Lord Ram, see details

It has been nearly six months since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ramlala in Ayodhya's Ram Mandir. Since the installation, more than 2 crore devotees have visited Ramlala, with thousands continuing to arrive daily.

Eager to capture their moments with Lord Ram, devotees have a strong desire to take photographs. To accommodate this, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has established several selfie points along the darshan route, allowing visitors from across India and the world to take selfies with Lord Ram. The Trust has beautified these selfie points, creating two specific locations along the Ram Janmabhoomi path that mirror the sanctum sanctorum's decorations.

Mobile Phone Ban in Ram Temple

Initially, devotees were permitted to carry mobile phones into the newly built temple to take photos and selfies with Ramlala. However, due to security concerns and the disruptions caused during darshan, the Trust imposed a complete ban on mobile phones within the temple premises.

Prakash Gupta, the office in-charge of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, explained that the ban was necessary to ensure smooth darshan for all devotees. In response, the Trust has provided two designated selfie points along the Ram Janmabhoomi path, with plans to introduce more in the future.

Devotees Express Gratitude

Devotees have expressed their gratitude for this thoughtful initiative. Sarika, a devotee from Kanpur, shared her joy after visiting Ramlala and taking a selfie at one of the new selfie points. She praised the Ram Mandir Trust for their efforts, emphasizing how meaningful it is for devotees to have a photograph with their deity. This initiative has fulfilled a cherished wish for many, and the Trust has received widespread thanks from the visitors.
