Cricket: Fans gather in large numbers in Mumbai for Team India's Victory March

The Indian cricket team will take out a victory march from Mumbai's Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium on Thursday evening.

Cricketer Rohit Sharma informed about this through a post on social platform X. People started gathering outside Wankhede Stadium from 12 noon to see the Victory March.

Vijay, a fan present outside Wankhede Stadium, said, "I had to come here, so I could not sleep properly at night. I am standing here since 12 noon. I am unable to understand what the feeling will be when Team India reaches here. This is an experience that one gets to experience only once in a lifetime."

He said, "Today there is going to be a huge crowd in Mumbai because the captain himself has invited the people. Today there is going to be the biggest crowd because everyone has waited for this trophy for a long time."

A fan said that "Hardik Pandya has faced a lot of hatred for the last 6 months. He proved himself in the last overs of the final match. This is a big comeback for him.''

The Indian team returned to Delhi from Barbados on Thursday morning. Team India also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.

PM Modi wrote, "An excellent meeting with our Champions!  Hosted the World Cup winning team at 7, LKM and had a memorable conversation on their experiences through the tournament."
