Madhya Pradesh: CM Mohan Yadav, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav plant saplings in BSF range of Indore; what CM said?


Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Forest and Environment Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav participated in the plantation program in BSF range area of ​​Indore today under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” and planted saplings in the memory of their mothers. 


CM Dr. Yadav planted a banyan tree in the memory of his mother Late Smt. Leelabai Shri Poonamchand Ji Yadav. Union Minister Yadav planted a mango tree in the memory of his mother Late Smt. Santra Yadav, State Urban Bodies and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya planted a mango tree in the memory of his mother Late Smt. Ayodhya Devi Vijayvargiya.



CM Dr. Yadav said that since ancient times, Indore and Ujjain have had a special relationship with the environment. Indore is the place of origin of 7 rivers including Maa Kshipra. Indore has a special identity in the country and the world. Along with being a clean city, Indore will definitely become number one green city as well. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized for plantation of trees in Indore.


CM said that Indian society has always been a nature worshiper. It is said in the Vedic traditions of India that one tree is equal to 10 sons. This is our Vedic belief and the importance of trees is in our tradition.



Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav said that the Prime Minister Modi launched the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign. A mega campaign is going on to plant 140 crore saplings across the country. He said that this year the fierce form of heat was seen in the form of 45 to 50 degree temperature.


Union Minister Yadav said that to complete development and projects all over the world, man has built concrete cities but destroyed the greenery of the earth. No matter how much progress man makes, nature gifts many essential things including food, water, medicines, but what do we give back to nature in return. 



Bhupendra Yadav said Earth is not only for humans but for all living beings, therefore, every citizen of the country has been called upon to plant saplings under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign in the country. The campaign of Indore residents to make Indore Green along with Clean Indore is commendable. Union Minister Shri Yadav and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav were honored by presenting a turban, a shawl and a memento.

 

Urban Bodies and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the green coverage of Indore will be increased. For this, special efforts will be made to protect 51 lakh saplings after they are planted. Minister Vijayvargiya said that various social organizations and institutions are taking the responsibility of protecting and planting the saplings. The campaign is being implemented effectively with public participation in Indore. We will make Indore number 1 in green coverage.
