Hathras Stampede: What Bhole Baba Said In His Letter Amid Controversies Surrounding Satsang Event?


In a devastating incident at a satsang organized by Baba Narayan Sakar Hari (Bhole Baba) in Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh, a stampede resulted in the tragic deaths of 122 people. Baba Narayan Sakar Hari has since released a statement addressing the catastrophe.


In his letter, Baba Narayan Sakar Hari expressed his deep condolences to the families of the deceased and offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured. He stated, "I express my condolences to the families of those who died and pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured."


Baba Narayan Sakar Hari further mentioned that Supreme Court advocate Dr. AP Singh has been entrusted with handling the necessary legal proceedings. He explained, "Following my departure, certain people caused a stampede, for which AP Singh has been empowered to initiate appropriate measures."


Advocate AP Singh commented on the incident, asserting, "The way anti-social elements caused a stampede under a well-planned conspiracy after Narayan Sakar Hari left the stage should be investigated. We are thanking the government that they are investigating thoroughly."


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the incident in a press conference on Wednesday, stating, "Further action will be taken to fix the accountability of those responsible for this entire incident. Action will be taken further after the preliminary investigation. It is necessary to get to the bottom of this so that it can be found out who is responsible for this."


When questioned about the absence of an FIR against Baba Narayan Sakar Hari, the Chief Minister clarified that an FIR has indeed been lodged and its scope will be expanded as the investigation proceeds.
