New Delhi: Supreme Court has granted bail to Manish Sisodia in Delhi liquor scam. Manish Sisodia has been granted bail on a personal bond of 10 lakhs. Aam Aadmi Party expressed happiness over this decision and thanked the Supreme Court.
Sisodia was in jail for the last 17 months. Sisodia will be released from jail this evening. Earlier, Manish Sisodia had challenged the decision of Delhi High Court in which his bail plea was rejected. Sisodia is accused of irregularities in the excise policy.
Conditions on which Manish Sisodia got bail
Supreme Court has granted bail to Manish Sisodia. But there are some conditions before him. Manish Sisodia will have to submit his passport i.e. Sisodia cannot go out of the country. He will have to come to the police station and appear in person every Monday.
MP Sanjay Singh said truth has won
There is an atmosphere of happiness in Aam Aadmi Party after Manish Sisodia got bail. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said truth has won. It was being said earlier that there was no fact and truth in this case. Our leaders were forcibly kept in jail. Sanjay Singh says will the Prime Minister of India answer for these 17 months? I bow my head to the Supreme Court.
