Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren thanked all the workers and officials of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) family on his birthday.
He said, "It is because of your strength that I am able to celebrate my birthday among you all today. Long live Jharkhand Mukti Morcha."
He also posted a post on the social media platform Instagram with the mark put on his hand when he was released from jail.
Hemant Soren has written that 'Today on the occasion of my birthday, the memories of the past one year are engraved in my mind. That is this mark of a prisoner, which was put on me when I was released from jail.'
He said, "This mark is not only mine but is a symbol of the current challenges of our democracy"
He said, "When an elected Chief Minister can be put in jail for 150 days without any evidence, without any complaint, without any crime, then I do not need to say what they can do with the common tribals, Dalits and the exploited."
Hemant Soren has said that today I am even more determined and I strengthen my resolve to fight for the rights of every exploited, deprived, Dalit, backward, tribal, indigenous person.
He said, "I will raise my voice for every person and community that has been suppressed, that has been deprived of justice. They are being persecuted on the basis of their colour, community, food and clothing. We have to unite and build a society where the law is equal for all and where there is no misuse of power."
Hemant Soren has said that yes, this path will not be easy. We will have to face many challenges but I am confident that together we can overcome these challenges because our strength lies in the unity and diversity of our country.
Hemant Soren also sought the blessings of his father on his birthday. He said, "Today, on the occasion of my birthday, first of all I took the blessings of my father respected Dishom Guru Shri Shibu Soren ji."
