Maharashtra: PM Modi Lays Foundation Stone for PM MITRA Park in Amravati, Launched These Schemes for Youth, Women Start-ups


PM Modi In Maharashtra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Amravati, Maharashtra on 20 September. This significant initiative is designed to boost the textile sector in the state, paving the way for economic development and job creation.


The PM MITRA Park is expected to play a key role in accelerating industrial growth in the region, driving both economic advancement and social progress.


New skills will be taught to the youth


PM Modi also launched the 'Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center' scheme of the Maharashtra government during his visit. Under this scheme, new skills will be taught to the youth, which will give them better employment opportunities. The aim of this scheme is to promote skill development in the state.


Support to women's startups


Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the 'Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana'. Through this scheme, women will be encouraged to move forward in entrepreneurship. Its purpose is to provide financial and administrative support to women's startups. 


Prime Minister Modi distributed certificates and loans to the beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Scheme in Wardha. Under this scheme, financial assistance is given to traditional artisans and laborers, which helps them improve their livelihood. The Prime Minister also honored many artisans on this occasion.


Industrial development in Maharashtra will pick up


Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were also present in this program. They discussed the development plans of the state with the Prime Minister. 


The leaders said that these schemes will prove to be a milestone for the development of Maharashtra. Industrial development in Maharashtra will pick up through PM MITRA Park and other schemes launched in Amravati.
