Hindi Fortnight was organized at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal from 14th to 30th September 2024. During Hindi Fortnight, to motivate and encourage all the officers, faculty members and employees working in the office to work in Rajbhasha Hindi, various Hindi competitions such as Hindi Essay Competition, Hindi Picture Description Competition, Hindi Poem Recitation Competition, Hindi Typing Competition, Hindi Translation and Language Knowledge Competition, Hindi Notetaking and Drafting Competition, Hindi Dictation Competition were organized in the campus by Ms. Samta, Junior Translation Officer, NIFT Bhopal under the guidance of Lt. Col. Ashish Agarwal, Director, NIFT Bhopal.
Unprecedented participation was recorded in these competitions. This year the prizes in the Hindi Fortnight competitions at NIFT have been fixed as follows: - First Prize Money Rs. 5000, Second Prize Money Rs. 4000, Third Prize Money Rs. 3000 and Incentive Prize Money Rs. 1000. To motivate and encourage the participants of the competitions organized during the fortnight, the closing ceremony of Hindi fortnight was organized at NIFT Bhopal on 30 September 2024.
The closing ceremony was conducted by Ms. Samta, Junior Translation Officer, NIFT Bhopal. In the closing ceremony, the winning participants (total number 47) were given certificates by Lt. Col. Ashish Agarwal, Director NIFT Bhopal and Mr. Akhil Sahay, Joint Director and Official Language Incharge, NIFT Bhopal, and congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to continue working in the official language.
