Bageshwar Baba Padyatra: Friday (29 November) is the ninth day of the padyatra of Bageshwar Dham's Peethadhishwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. On the last day, the 'Sanatan Hindu Ekta' yatra started from Tigaila. After covering a distance of 8 km, the yatra reached the Darbar of Ramraja Sarkar in Orchha. Hanuman Chalisa was recited here.
Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri had a darshan at the Ram temple in Orchha. He hoisted the tricolor after coming out of the temple. The yatra will conclude with the hoisting of the religious flag. Dhirendra's yatra, which started on 21 November, covered a distance of 152 km. On Friday, the last day, the yatra covered a distance of 8 km.
Jai Shri Ram slogans raised to the tune of cymbals
Dhirendra Shastri reached the Shaheed Smarak on Friday and garlanded the statue of Chandrashekhar Azad. The yatra reached towards Ramraja temple. Along with the tableaux, women and men were seen dancing and singing on the DJ. They were walking together chanting Jai Shri Ram to the tune of cymbals. When the yatra reached Rajaram Darbar, people raised slogans with reverence. Large number of people attended the closing ceremony.
Devotee came on foot from Alwar
A devotee of Dhirendra Shastri reached Bageshwar Dham after walking for 11 days from Alwar in Rajasthan. Then he undertook a 9-day journey from Bageshwar Dham to Orchha. The flag brought from Alwar was hoisted at Ramraja Darbar. When the padayatra reached Ramraja temple, the devotees filled with reverence started chanting Jai Shri Ram. After this, some people including Pt. Dhirendra Shastri went inside and offered worship to Lord Ram.
ISKCON is a Sanatan organization
On the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh, Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham said that it is unfortunate and worrying. The Government of India should raise this issue at the international level. Hindus in Bangladesh should come out on the streets and hold the government there responsible. ISKCON is a Sanatan organization.
