Why AAP leaders said their party cannot stay in INDIA alliance? What demand Sandeep Dikshit made to Delhi LG?

Congress Party and Aam Aadmi Party, two major partners of India Alliance, have come face to face before the Delhi Assembly elections-2025.

Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that Congress Party is supporting BJP in Delhi and is doing everything that benefits BJP in the elections.

Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh addressed a press conference with CM Atishi today.

He said, "The Congress has a leader in Delhi, Ajay Maken. Ajay Maken ji seems to follow the BJP's narrative. He makes statements at the BJP's request and attacks Aam Aadmi Party leaders on their behalf. Just yesterday, he went too far by labeling Arvind Kejriwal ji, as anti-national."

He said that till date Ajay Maken or Congress Party has not called any BJP leader in Delhi anti-national.

Sanjay Singh said that Aam Aadmi Party continuously stands with Congress Party in Parliament. Arvind Kejriwal is the person who campaigned for the Congress candidates in Delhi (during the Lok Sabha elections).

During this, CM Atishi also said that it has become clear from the statements and actions of the Congress that the Congress has colluded with the BJP for the Delhi elections.

Atishi said that we have come to know from official sources that the election campaign expenses of the Congress candidates are coming from the Bharatiya Janata Party. The most prominent among them are Sandeep Dixit and Farhad Suri, who are contesting from Jangpura.

CM Atishi said, "If the Congress party does not want the Bharatiya Janata Party to win, then it should take action against Ajay Maken within 24 hours. Congress leaders should tell the people of Delhi where the money for Sandeep Dixit and Farhad Suri to contest the elections is coming from."

Atishi said, "If the Congress party does not take action against these leaders, then the Aam Aadmi Party will talk to all the other constituent parties of the India Alliance that it cannot remain in an alliance with the Congress party anymore."

Sandeep Dikshit demands inquiry against Kejriwal and Atishi

Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit has filed a complaint with Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena against Chief Minister Atishi, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP workers.

In his complaint, Dikshit accuses AAP workers of illegally obtaining data related to women. He stated, "Atishi ji and Arvind Kejriwal have announced that they are implementing a Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana in Delhi."

Dikshit further claimed that AAP has stated a scheme worth Rs 1,000 is underway, with promises of Rs 2,100 after form submission. However, he noted that a department within the Delhi government has denied the existence of such a scheme, calling the collection of documents for this initiative a case of fraud.

According to Dikshit, "This is a criminal case of fraud perpetrated by the government, involving the collection of phone numbers and addresses of women."

In his complaint, he requested an investigation into what he describes as a significant case of fraud, urging that action be taken against those he believes are primarily responsible, namely Kejriwal and Atishi ji.

Sandeep Dikshit is the Congress candidate for the New Delhi seat in the upcoming assembly elections, a constituency previously held by AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal won this seat by defeating Sandeep Dikht's mother, the senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit, who lost her election while serving as Chief Minister.
