Congress and BJP have come face to face over the alleged insult of Ambedkar in the Parliament House. During this, there was a scuffle between BJP and Congress MPs in the Parliament premises. BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput were injured. BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj and Anurag Thakur have reached Parliament Street police station to lodge a complaint against Rahul Gandhi in this matter.
Opposition and ruling party MPs protested in the Parliament premises on Thursday on the issue related to Babasaheb Ambedkar. During this, there was also a scuffle between them. BJP alleges that Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi pushed, due to which its elderly MP Pratap Sarangi was injured. Sarangi was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi claimed that BJP MPs prevented him and other opposition members from entering the Parliament House and pushed them.
At the same time, BJP MP and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called this incident a black day in parliamentary history. He also accused Rahul Gandhi and Congress of hooliganism and beating up MPs.
According to Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Rahul Gandhi and Congress are venting their frustration of the defeat in Maharashtra and Haryana inside the Parliament.
Shivraj also said that a school should be set up for Rahul Gandhi and Congress MPs on how to behave inside the Parliament. Amit Shah has exposed the Congress in his speech. Congress is so angry that they have resorted to hooliganism. We condemn this.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju also expressed his reaction and said that Makar Dwar is the main gate for the entry of MPs in the House. Congress MPs were standing there and showing placards. Today, for the first time, NDA MPs went there to protest against the insult of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. He alleged that Congress has been insulting Ambedkar since 1951.
According to Kiren Rijiju, when NDA MPs were demonstrating near Makar Dwar, Rahul Gandhi came and pushed the BJP MPs.
