Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishor has slammed Nitish Kumar's administration. In a media statement, he said, "People who have ignored the public for 20 years are unlikely to change in just four days. Real change will only occur when the people of Bihar will come forward."
Prashant, who began a hunger strike last Thursday, said, "It is essential to recognize that the true strength lies in the collective power of the people. Change can only occur when people step out of their homes to advocate for a brighter future for their children. It is crucial for people to rise above religion and caste, as well as the desire for free benefits, and focus on the future of the next generation."
Prashant Kishor is on a hunger strike in Patna
Prashant Kishor is on a hunger strike in Patna in support of the demand of the candidates of Bihar Civil Services Commission (BPSC). Sunday is the fourth day of his hunger strike.
Allegations of rigging have been leveled in the BPSC exam held in Bihar on December 13 and candidates have alleged that the question paper was delivered late at Bapu Examination Complex in Patna.
Candidates have been protesting in Gardani Bagh in Patna since December 18 demanding that the exam be re-conducted.
However, the re-examination of the candidates of Bapu Examination Complex was conducted on Saturday. But Prashant Kishor, who is on hunger strike, has supported the demand for re-examination of all the candidates. Students are demanding talks with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Prashant Kishor has said that he will not end his hunger strike until the Chief Minister communicates with the candidates.
Prashant Kishore told media on Sunday that 'if the government is adamant on not listening to the public, then we are also adamant.'
