Delhi Assembly Election 2025: National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party and former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal cast his vote with his family.

Arvind Kejriwal reached a polling booth in New Delhi with his wife Sunita Kejriwal, son and his parents and cast his vote. His parents arrived to vote on a wheel chair. Voting is going on in Delhi. Election results will be declared on 8 February.

It is being said that this time there is a tough competition between Aam Aadmi Party and BJP and Congress is also expected to perform much better than in two previous assembly polls. Just five days before the voting, seven MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party resigned. The party did not give ticket to any of the leaders who resigned this time.

Atishi worships before casting vote

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi offered worship at Kalkaji Mandir before casting her vote. Atishi said, "I prayed at Kalkaji temple this morning. I prayed to Kalka Mai that in this crusade, goodness and work should once again win in Delhi and hooliganism should be destroyed."

Atishi cast her vote at a polling booth in Kalkaji constituency. After casting her vote, she spoke to reporters and said, "Delhi elections are a religious war. This is a battle between good and evil. It is a battle between truth and falsehood. It is a battle between work and hooliganism."

Targeting the BJP, she said, "On one side there are educated and honest candidates. On the other side there are abusive people. I am confident that the people of Delhi will vote for goodness, truth and work."

She alleged, "Delhi Police personnel are working for the BJP. BJP personnel are scaring voters. They are also luring them to vote."

Aatishi is the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Kalkaji constituency. She is pitted against Congress's Alka Lamba and BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri.
