Prayagraj: MP CM Mohan Yadav took a holy dip in sacred Sangam on Saturday. He said I have come to Prayagraj with the resolution of grand organization of Ujjain Simhastha 2028.
Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the Maha Kumbh is a glorious festival of the Sanatan culture, embodying the faith of millions. He also shared that his visit to Prayagraj is driven by his commitment to preparing for the grand and divine Simhastha 2028, set to take place in Ujjain. After taking a holy dip at the sacred confluence, he prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the state.
CM Mohan Yadav also fed grains to birds on the banks of the Ganga on the occasion of holy bath at Prayagraj Mahakumbh.
After taking a sacred dip at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, CM described Prayagraj as the king of all pilgrimages, emphasizing that the joy of bathing in the Kumbh is a blessing earned through the virtues of many lifetimes Dr. Yadav prayed for the uninterrupted and eternal flow of Maa Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, wishing happiness and prosperity for all.
CM congratulated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the state government for successfully organizing the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. Dr. Yadav also highlighted that PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently took a holy dip at the sacred Sangam. He noted that Chief Ministers from various states are also visiting Prayagraj.
Will also take guidance from saints regarding preparations for Simhastha
CM Mohan Yadav stated that the Kumbh Mela is not only a celebration of religious faith but also an opportunity to engage in satsang with revered saints, offering deeper insight into the true meaning of life. He explained that Simhastha is held in Ujjain when Jupiter enters Leo, a phenomenon linked to the divine event of Samudra Manthan.
CM also addressed the devotees who had come to the "Shankar Lok Shankar" discourse series at the Ekatma Dham complex in Prayagraj.
CM further mentioned that in preparation for Simhastha 2028 in Ujjain, a team of state government officials has been sent to Prayagraj to learn from the arrangements made for the Maha Kumbh. Additionally, guidance will be sought from the saints present at the Maha Kumbh to ensure a well-organized and spiritually enriching event.
Cultural events at the Madhya Pradesh Pandal in Maha Kumbh
CM Mohan Yadav informed that a dedicated Madhya Pradesh Pandal has been set up at the Maha Kumbh on the sacred land of Prayag. As part of the cultural celebrations, plays depicting the life of Lord Krishna and Emperor Vikramaditya are being staged. He emphasized that this initiative by the state government is helping people from across the country and the world experience the richcultural heritage and grandeur of Madhya Pradesh.
