Many films were released at the beginning of the year 2025. While some were hits, others flopped. However, 'Chhaava' has established itself as a superhit, having been in theaters for 39 days and continuing to earn significantly at the box office. Now, a major update has emerged regarding the film.
The historical film 'Chhaava,' starring Vicky Kaushal, is set to be screened in Parliament, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several prominent political leaders will attend.
According to reports, a special screening of 'Chhaava' will take place in the Balayogi Auditorium of Parliament this Thursday. Prime Minister Modi, Union Ministers, and Members of Parliament are expected to be present for this event. Additionally, the entire cast and crew of the film, including actor Vicky Kaushal, who portrays Sambhaji Maharaj, are anticipated to attend.
Recently, PM Modi praised 'Chhaava' during the 98th All India Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in Delhi. He said that Maharashtra and Mumbai have elevated both Marathi and Hindi cinema to new heights. As 'Chhava' gains popularity across the country, Vicky Kaushal expressed his excitement.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, 'Chhaava' was released in theaters on February 14 and is currently making waves at the domestic box office and internationally. The film is among the top five highest-grossing films, having earned about Rs 582 crore in India alone, with worldwide collections exceeding Rs 775 crore.
The film features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the illustrious ruler of the Maratha Empire, alongside a talented cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, Akshay Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan.
