ICC Champions Trophy-2025: IND Vs NZ: Varun Chakaravarthy bags five wickets as India beat New Zealand by 44 runs


ICC Champions Trophy-2025: India and New Zealand clashed in Dubai on Sunday under the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In this, India defeated New Zealand by 44 runs.


Kane Williamson played an innings of 81 runs for New Zealand, while  Varun Chakaravarthy took five wickets for 42 runs in ten overs for India.


Apart from these, Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket each for India.


Earlier, India had scored 249 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs and gave New Zealand a target of 250 runs.


Shreyas Iyer scored 79 runs, Axar Patel scored 42 runs and Hardik Pandya scored 45 runs for India.


Matt Henry took five wickets for New Zealand, Kyle Jamieson, Mitchell Santner, Rachin Ravindra and Will O'Rourke took one wicket each. Both India and New Zealand have reached the semi-finals of this tournament.


The first semi-final match will be played on March 4 and the second on March 5. The final match of this tournament will be played on March 9.


Now India will face Australia in the first semi-final. This match will be played in Dubai on March 4.
