Lucknow: Political relations between BSP chief Mayawati and her nephew Akash Anand are back on track. A day before Ambedkar Jayanti, Akash Anand publicly apologized to Mayawati and a few hours later Mayawati forgave him. In this way, 41 days after being expelled from BSP, Akash Anand returned to the party.
Mayawati expelled Akash Anand from BSP on March 3. The reason behind this was Akash Anand following the political advice of his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth. A month and a quarter after being expelled from BSP, Akash wrote a letter to Mayawati on Sunday and apologized and expressed his desire to work in BSP again and said that in the interest of the party, he will no longer listen to his relatives, especially his in-laws.
However, Akash was neither given any post nor any political status. After this the question is bound to arise that has Mayawati taken Akash back under some compulsion?
Efforts were being made to get the strained relations back on track
The script of Akash Anand's homecoming to BSP had already been written, which has been implemented a day before Ambedkar Jayanti as a part of a well-thought strategy. On March 3, Mayawati had ordered the expulsion of Akash Anand from BSP, after which Akash Anand kept quiet, but behind the scenes, efforts were being made to get the strained relations back on track.
Anand Kumar talked to sister Mayawati on this issue
If BSP sources are to be believed, after being expelled from the party, Akash Anand talked to his father Anand Kumar about the whole matter and he understood that he had really made a big mistake by getting misled by his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth. Only after everything was fine between father and son, Anand Kumar talked to sister Mayawati on this issue.
Big leaders of BSP also convinced to Mayawati
Four big leaders of BSP also convined Mayawati that Akash Anand is a child, Ashok Siddharth has misled him. Akash Anand is not at fault in this and you have punished him a lot by expelling him from the party. After this, Akash Anand spoke to Mayawati on the phone and accepted his mistake and asked for a chance to work in the party again.
Akash Anand needs BSP for his political future as much as Mayawati needs Akash Anand. In this way, both are politically compelled and necessary for each other. Mayawati knows very well in whose hands the future of BSP will be safe.
Akash has a good hold among Dalit youth
Mayawati understands very well that apart from her, if anyone has the power to gather the Dalit community in BSP, then it is Akash Anand. Akash has a good hold among Dalit youth. There was a constant demand for Akash's return ever since he was expelled from BSP. Apart from this, he has grown up playing in Mayawati's lap and has learned to walk on the political path by holding her finger.
Mayawati also sees the future of BSP in the hands of Akash
Mayawati also sees the future of BSP in the hands of Akash. In this way, Mayawati could not remain angry with Akash for long, for which a way was found for his homecoming. Akash Anand also knows that the political achievement that can be achieved by staying in BSP can neither be done by forming a party nor by going to any other party.
Dalit community is getting disillusioned with BSP
The political graph of BSP is continuously falling down. The Dalit community is also getting disillusioned with BSP. Chandrashekhar Azad is rapidly establishing his political roots among the Dalits, due to which the inclination of Dalit youth is also increasing rapidly towards him. In such a situation, Mayawati brought Akash Anand into politics to prevent Dalit youth from going towards Chandrashekhar.
In 2017, when Chandrashekhar's name came up in the battle of Dalit-Thakur supremacy in Saharanpur, at the same time Akash was brought to the pitch of politics. Akash Anand also started the 2024 Lok Sabha election campaign from Nagina, from where Chandrashekhar Azad is a Lok Sabha MP. Through Akash, Mayawati wants to attract the Dalit youth, on whom every party has its eyes.
