Akash Anand, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati's nephew, has publicly apologized to Mayawati on Sunday.
After Akash Anand's apology, Mayawati's reply has also come. Mayawati wrote in a post on her X account that a decision has been taken to give Akash another chance.
She also made it clear that she does not need to make anyone her successor. She wrote, "By the way, I am healthy right now and as long as I am completely healthy, I will continue to work with full dedication for the party and the movement."
She said, "By the way, after being expelled from the party, Akash has been continuously contacting people to apologize for all his mistakes and not to make such mistakes in future."
The party chief said, "Today he has publicly admitted his mistakes and has vowed not to be influenced by his father-in-law anymore."
Akash has expressed his desire to return to the party in a post on the social media platform X.
He wrote in the post, "I consider respected sister Ms. Mayawati ji as my only political guru and ideal from my heart. Today I take a vow that for the benefit of the Bahujan Samaj Party, I will not let my relations and especially my in-laws become an obstacle."
He said, "Not only this, I also apologize for my tweet made a few days ago due to which respected sister ji has expelled me from the party."
Akash has appealed to Mayawati to take me back to the party and forgive my mistakes.
He said, "I will not make any such mistake in future, which hurts the self-respect and self-esteem of the party and respected sister ji."
