Heat wave alert
The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal and Sagar divisions for the next 2 days. Heat wave can occur in Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur and Panna. At the same time, the day temperature in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and Jabalpur can reach 42 to 43 degrees Celsius.
The rain will resume from 12 June. However, the effect of heat will remain in the districts where there will be no rain.
Monsoon not advancing
