India Alliance meeting on July 19; will Opposition show unity ahead of Parliament's monsoon session?

In this, a common strategy for the monsoon session of Parliament and the current political situation in the country will be discussed.

Congress organization general secretary KC Venugopal gave this information on social media platform X on Thursday night.

He posted on X, "A meeting of the leaders of the parties of the 'India' alliance will be held online on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 7 pm to discuss the current political situation in the country."

Questions being raised on the existence of India Block 

Questions were being raised on the existence of India Block since the Lok Sabha elections. In the assembly polls held after the Lok Sabha elections, direct conflict was seen between the constituent parties. In Haryana, Aam Aadmi Party caused heavy damage to Congress and in Delhi, Congress caused heavy damage to AAP. The result was that BJP won in both the states.

Opposition is planning to unite

Now once again before the monsoon session of Parliament, the opposition is planning to unite and surround the government. The Congress party has called a meeting of the INDIA alliance on July 19. The meeting will be led by Sonia Gandhi. The purpose of this meeting is to show opposition unity and make a solid strategy to surround the government. However, Aam Aadmi Party is likely to stay away from this meeting as well. Earlier, different parties have raised questions on Congress.

The monsoon session of Parliament is going to start from July 21. Before this, opposition parties are planning to surround the government. Congress has already raised questions on the special revision of the voter list by the Election Commission before the Bihar assembly elections. Now this issue can also be raised in Parliament during the monsoon session.
