BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav on Monday met leading industrialists of Punjab at Vardhman Industrial Complex in Ludhiana and informed them about the inclusive, liberal and investment-friendly policies of MP.
CM assured the industrialists that the MP government is not only ready to set up industries and increase investment, but if there is a possibility in any sector, then the rules will also be changed there. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that investment proposals worth Rs 15,606 crore have been received from various industrialists for investment in the state, which is likely to create more than 20,275 jobs.
Work is being done towards reviving Indore's Hukumchand Mill
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that special opportunities are available for the garment and textile sector in Madhya Pradesh and the state government is making serious efforts in this direction. He informed that work is being done towards reviving Indore's Hukumchand Mill and giving priority to the interests of the workers, Rs 100 crore will be invested in this sector. Settlements worth more than ₹ 100 crore have been cleared.
The CM said that the government's commitment to investors and workers will remain at every level. He said that the state government has taken decisions compassionately in the case of JC Mill of Gwalior and Heera Mill of Ujjain.
Govt also ready to change policies at the cabinet level
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the government is also ready to change policies at the cabinet level to take decisions in the interest of industrialists. He urged investors to come to MP and see the possibilities and take advantage of the dynamism, peace and resources of the state. He said that there are extensive opportunities available in sectors like textile, agri based industry, engineering goods, steel processing, renewable energy and IT in the state.

The industrialists praised Chief Minister Dr. Yadav's policy clarity, decision-making ability and readiness to work and said that Madhya Pradesh has been included in the most trustworthy and investment-worthy states of the country.
CM Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country where there is diamond in Panna district and iron deposits in Shahdol. Recently, gold mines have also been found in Singrauli district.
Investors can set up as many industries as they want
He said that investors can set up as many industries as they want in Madhya Pradesh, the government will welcome you with open arms and will help you in every possible way. He said that land, electricity, water, skilled workforce are all available as per the requirement for setting up industries in Madhya Pradesh.
The CM said that Madhya Pradesh and Punjab are like brothers. Punjab is the elder brother and Madhya Pradesh is the younger brother in the production of grains. Now both the brothers will work together to develop the country and Madhya Pradesh.
