OBC youths to be empowered technically by Yogi govt in UP, will get free computer training, see scheme details


In the computer training scheme run by the Uttar Pradesh government, free computer training will be provided to the youth of Other Backward Classes (OBC). Youth can get O Level and CCC training. In the current financial year, the Yogi government has approved Rs 35 crore for this scheme. 

Application can be made till July 14

To avail the benefits of the scheme, applications can be made on the portal https://obccomputertraining.upsdc.gov.in/ till July 14. This scheme has been started to empower OBC youth technically. 

299 institutions selected to provide training

299 institutions have been selected to provide training. Out of these, 52 institutions will provide O Level, 43 institutions will provide CCC and 204 institutions will provide both types of training. The institutions are selected by a committee constituted at the director level, while the beneficiaries will be selected by a committee constituted at the district level under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. 

Minister of State for Backward Classes Welfare, Independent Charge, Narendra Kashyap said that under the scheme, those unemployed youths who have passed intermediate and whose parents' annual income is Rs 1 lakh or less can apply.
