Indian Team Announced for Hero Hockey Asia Cup 2025: Hero Hockey Asia Cup is going to start from 29th August. This time the Hockey Asia Cup will be played in Rajgir, Bihar. The Indian team has been announced for the Asia Cup to be held in Bihar. 18 players have been included in this team.
The winner of this Asia Cup to be played from 29 August to 7 September will get direct entry into the World Cup to be held next year. The World Cup is to be held in Netherlands and Belgium from 14 to 30 August. Through the Asia Cup, the Indian team will have its eyes on the World. By becoming the king of Asia, it will directly qualify for the World Cup.
An 18-member team has been announced under the leadership of Harmanpreet Singh. In this, the team has been formed keeping in view the better balance of young and experienced players.
