False and baseless: EC
In response, the Election Commission called Rahul Gandhi's allegations false and baseless, stating that ordinary citizens' votes cannot be deleted online. EC said that there were some attempts to delete voter names in a specific area, but EC investigated those claims themselves.
BJP also dismisses Rahul's allegation
The BJP also dismissed Rahul Gandhi's allegations. BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized him, questioning his understanding of the Constitution and accusing him of not taking action despite Supreme Court guidance. He suggested that if Rahul Gandhi is not getting votes, it reflects on his leadership and that voters will respond accordingly.
