Madhya Pradesh: PM Modi Honors Trisha Tawde; Betul's daughter brings glory to state; CM Mohan Yadav greets


Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored Kumari Trisha Tawde, a trainee in the Electrician Trade from the Government ITI, Betul, Madhya Pradesh, for topping the All India Central Zone Two-Year Trade at the Skill Convocation organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in New Delhi on October 4.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav extended his congratulations and best wishes to Trisha. He said that Trisha’s achievement is a proud moment for the entire state. He remarked that immense talent lies hidden in our villages and small towns. In today’s evolving era, students from tribal regions are setting new benchmarks.

Skill Convocations were held today at all 280 government ITIs across the state, and Prime Minister Modi's program was also broadcast live. On this occasion, top trainees across all trades at the ITI level were honored.

Trisha Tawde, a student at the Government Eklavya Women's ITI in Betul district, Madhya Pradesh, secured first place in the Central Zone by scoring 1187 out of 1200 marks. She brought honor to the district and the state as she was included in the national merit list as the only trainee from Madhya Pradesh. She belongs to Bhadus village in Betul, her father, Ajay Tawde, is a bus driver, and her mother, Sushila Tawde, is a homemaker. Her elder sister, Ekta Tawde, has also been a topper at ITI Betul and is currently working as an apprentice with the Railways.

The Principal of ITI Betul informed that in the 2024-25 session, Arvind Kumare, a student in the Mechanic Computer Hardware trade, topped the male category, and Tawde, a female, topped the female category. Nikita Taywade secured first place at the national level in the women's category.

Students at ITI, Betul, are gaining employment opportunities not only within the state but also across the country and abroad. Last year, over 85 students were selected for jobs in companies in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhopal. This year, 45 students have been selected for jobs at Tata Electronics, Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and nine at Pratibha Syntex, Pithapuram.

Nine other trainees from Madhya Pradesh also brought honor to the state by becoming All India Trade Toppers, including Chanchal Sewarik, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Bhopal; Pooja Jatav, Drone Technician, Jabalpur; Shyam Maheshwari, Fashion Design and Technology, Ujjain; Aman Gajbhiye, Mason, Balaghat; Shruti Vishwakarma, Mechanic, Tractor, Jabalpur; Arvind Kumre, Mechanic, Computer Hardware, Betul; Nikita Taywade, Mechanic, Computer Hardware, Betul; Abhijeet Singh Sisodia, Milk and Milk Products Technician, Bhopal; and Shivam Yadav, Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant, Khandwa. All these trainees have made the state proud with their skills, hard work, and determination.
