What are new instructions for calculating the age of workers in MP? Is Aadhaar card not acceptable now

Bhopal: The MP Labor Department has issued new instructions for calculating the age of workers under the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Sambal Yojana. The term "based on Aadhaar card" has now been removed from age calculations. 

For proof of age, a certificate or mark sheet issued by the board or university conducting the examination, or a school leaving certificate issued by the last school attended, will be valid. Similarly, a certificate from the Registrar of Births and Deaths, and a certificate from the Gram Panchayat or Chief Municipal Officer will be valid. 

Additional Secretary of the Labor Department, Basant Kurre, has stated that in the absence of the above certificates, a certificate from a medical officer not lower in rank than that of an Assistant Surgeon in government service will be valid. After examining the above four documents or other age related documents available at the local level, the age related decision will be taken on the basis of merits and demerits.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
