New Delhi: Following the landslide victory in the Bihar elections, the NDA constituents are now brainstorming on forming the new government in the state. Meanwhile, grand preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are underway.

PM Modi held a key meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda at his residence on Sunday. According to sources, the meeting discussed holding the swearing-in ceremony in Bihar on November 20th. Consequently, it is highly likely that the swearing-in ceremony for the new government in Bihar will be held on November 20th.

Nitish Kumar to resign paving the way for a new govt

The formal process for the formation of the new government in Bihar will begin within the next 48 hours. A senior JDU official confirmed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will resign on Monday, paving the way for the formation of the new NDA government. On Monday morning, Nitish Kumar will chair his government's final cabinet meeting. Immediately afterward, he will proceed to Raj Bhavan to submit his resignation to the Governor. He will then attend a party meeting where the 85 newly elected JDU MLAs will decide on the future course of action. Following the JDU meeting, a separate NDA meeting will be held, the time and venue of which are yet to be finalized.

18 possible NDA ministers in Bihar's new Govt

Efforts to form a new government in Bihar have intensified. The JDU has called a legislative party meeting on Monday, where Nitish Kumar will be elected as the legislative party leader. According to reports, 18 ministers may also be sworn in alongside Nitish Kumar. Meanwhile, the names of Samrat Chaudhary, Ramkripal Yadav, Mangal Pandey, and Nityanand Rai from the BJP are being discussed in the race for Deputy CM. Chirag Paswan's party, the LJP (R), will also get representation in Bihar government.
